Chicken Links Herb Soup

A warming herby soup made with green peas, Yukon potato and Jones Dairy Farm Chicken Links. Finish it off with a generous grating of parmesan and fresh bread (the crunchier the better). 

  • 8 Jones Dairy Farm Chicken Links
  • ½ Onion
  • 1 Gold Yukon Potato
  • 80g green peas
  • 1 tbsp. Olive Oil
  • 50ml white wine
  • 1 consomme cube
  • 400ml water
  • 4 Eggs
  • Parmesan cheese to taste
  • Zanthoxylum piperitum
  • 1Boil green peas for two minutes and immediately place in cold water (If using frozen green peas, leave as is)
  • 2Cut potatoes and onions into five millimeter squares
  • 3Heat olive oil in a pot and fry chopped garlic then, add the sardines and onions and continue to fry
  • 4Add the white wine and let it boil, then add water and consome and let it simmer
  • 5When the potatoes and green peas are cooked, add salt and pepper
  • 6Drop the egg and once half-boiled, turn off the heat
  • 6Finally, serve on a plate with parmesan cheese and Zanthoxylum piperitum
